All woods chosen for this product are sustainably grown and not on the “endangered” list. Products used are food safe which includes the waterproof glue (Titebond III) and the finishing products (from the company: Walrus Oil). In addition, any off-cuts of wood are saved and used to create additional products such as exotic wood trivets; Linde Woodworking strives to honor the gift of this wood and utilize it fully.
